From internal information screens to the services that keep them supplied with data.
Applications
Worked on Angular and TypeScript applications for internal information, technical material management and showcase objects, including MySQL-backed functionality.
Services & delivery
Built Python/Flask services for menu plans and timetable data. Developed a PDF poster and flyer tool that went into productive use, including presentation and user training.

An ongoing team project exploring how services written in different languages communicate.
The idea
Connect chatbot services through a Java and Python application. Build the communication between the services, then package and run them in containers.
What I’m exploring
Service boundaries, HTTP APIs, Docker images and the practical steps between running code locally and operating it in another environment.

I’m a software engineer based in Switzerland, working at Ostendis and studying Computer Science at FHNW.
I got my start at the Informatikmittelschule in Baden, then moved into hands-on development at ZHAW’s Institute of Applied Information Technology. Working on tools people actually used taught me to think beyond getting the code to run.
Today, I’m particularly interested in making established software better: clearer components, fewer special cases, and interfaces that don’t make people stop and think. I enjoy the point where solid engineering and good design meet.
